Who Am I?

I’m Taylor Royals — a musician, live-loop artist, and storyteller from Jacksonville, Florida.

My music lives in the space between darkness and soul — where Johnny Cash’s storytelling, metal’s intensity, and Tipper’s electronic pulse collide. I build layers of guitar, bass, and voice until they start breathing together, creating something that feels alive — chaotic, meditative, and a little nostalgic.

I started making music because I needed an escape from reality. Over time, it became a way to help others process their own emotions — to make people think, feel, and maybe find a little closure in the sound.

Onstage and on stream, I use the tools of my time — loopers, synths, and effects — to shape each moment in real-time. Sometimes it’s a calm storm; sometimes it’s a full-blown fever dream. Either way, it’s real.

You can catch me performing solo as Taylor Royals or as Rev Beaumont — my stoic, southern-gothic alter-ego with The Noctambulant, a black-metal band that’s taken me from local bars to European tours. Both worlds feed each other: one introspective and emotional, the other fierce and ritualistic.

Right now I’m recording my own originals, releasing new tracks with The Noctambulant, and looking for live gigs around Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach. I’m also developing a technique-based lesson plan to help the next generation of players push past their limits and find their own voice.

Whether I’m streaming, teaching, or performing live, my goal is simple — to build something honest, something that resonates.

Welcome to my world — a double rainbow of sound, chaos, and soul. 🌈🎸
